Hi! I am a first year Computer Science PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University where I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Graham Neubig.
Some areas that I am currently excited about include:
- Agents (LLM, Multimodal, Embodied)
- Reinforcement Learning
- Program Synthesis
- Reasoning and Abstraction
- Inference-time algorithms
Prior to starting a PhD at CMU, I spent four wonderful years at Microsoft as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist, where I helped design and ship many of the foundational pieces for Microsoft & M365 Copilots, including the original prototype for Copilots in Microsoft Office.
Before that, I graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Computer Engineering & Computer Science and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, where I was extremely fortunate to have Prof. Bart Kosko as a mentor.
If you share research interests, are considering a PhD after time in industry, or think I could otherwise be of help, feel free to reach out!
